Amelia founded AJP Fitness in 2016 with a simple mission: to make exercise accessible, enjoyable and something people genuinely look forward to. She created a space that feels welcoming, supportive and far removed from the intimidating gym environment, a place designed for real people who want to feel stronger, healthier and more confident.

For over a decade Amelia has coached clients from her private studio, helping them transform both body and mindset through effective training, better nutrition and sustainable daily habits that fit into everyday life.

An adventure seeker at heart, Amelia is always chasing new challenges and thrives on positive energy, good vibes and a winning mindset. She’s obsessed with running, with much of her own training focused on getting faster and stronger, but she believes all movement should feel empowering and enjoyable.

She is passionate about the role exercise plays in mental health. For Amelia, training isn’t just about physical results, it’s about resilience. Pushing through a tough workout or run reminds you what you’re capable of, and that strength carries into every part of life.

Through AJP Fitness, Amelia helps clients build confidence, develop a stronger mindset and create a balanced, sustainable approach to health and fitness that becomes a lasting part of their lives.
Claudia Thurlwell

Claudia is a nurse and a level 2 fitness instructor with a specialist interest and passion in Diabetes and Menopause.
Health and wellbeing is a huge part of both her role’s supporting people to make positive changes with achievable goals to live a balanced happy life, prevent disease and boost longevity.
Having the opportunity to promote and teach fitness brings Claudia great pleasure and is a huge contribution to her holistic vision to helping others. She is passionate in helping you on your fitness journey, supporting you with mindset, goals, strength and confidence.
In her down time Claudia enjoys exploring and getting lost with her two dogs, running, spinning, meeting with friends and family and laughter!!


Nicola Walker
Group Fitness Instructor

As a long-term gym enthusiast, Nicola – also known as Nic – joined the fitness industry following a successful career in investment management. She is a Level 2 Fitness Instructor with a keen interest in Kettlebell training and Spin.

Nicola knows all too well the stresses and strains the daily job can have, and she is keen to use her own experiences help others realise the extraordinary benefits of exercise on the body and mind. She is a meticulous planner and her attention to detail ensures clients get the most out of each class.
​
Nicola’s own fitness passion is strength training and she has recently taken up running. When not in the gym, you can find her walking with her springer spaniel, on her motorcycle coaching advanced training or volunteering at the local vineyard.
